COVID-19 UPDATE : In line with accepted travel industry policy, if a reservation cannot go ahead for reason of Government recommendation or legislation relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, the policy of Halcyon Leisure is that Guests will be entitled to a 100% reimbursement of all monies paid. Please note that some owners wish is not to accept this policy and this is indicated on the relevant property pages.
In the meantime we can only re-iterate official advice to manage the situation: Please all remain safe, and we will soon be relaxing by the pool with a bottle of wine and fresh bread and cheese.

Halcyon Leisure's Cancellation Policy is as follows:
1) At Booking
Bookings are not fully confirmed until the stated deposit is received and cleared into Halcyon Leisure's Bank Account at which point a booking confirmation in the form of an invoice for the payment of the balance is issued.
Before that point, either party may cancel the booking, and should a deposit have been lodged it will be refunded without penalty.
2) After Confirmation is issued
Deposits will not normally be refunded in the event of a cancellation - Guests should ensure that their insurance covers cancellation from the date of confirmation of the booking.
Where a week can be relet, and in circumstances deemed appropriate by Halcyon Leisure partial refund of deposits paid may be made less an appropriate Administration charge.
Halcyon Leisure will accept no liability for losses incurred as the result of failure to pay the balance of the rental.
3) Non payment of Balance
The Balance of the rental plus Security Deposit is due to be paid not less than 8 weeks before the booking starts. Reminders before payment is due will not normally be issued.
If payment of the balance is not made by that date, Halcyon Leisure will issue a payment reminder with seven days of the due date.
If the payment is not made within seven days of that reminder, Halcyon Leisure may release the booked dates for booking by others without notice, and the deposit is deemed forfeited until the Balance is paid in full.
4) Cancellation after Balance is Paid
The circumstances of cancellation after payment of the Balance will usually be covered by Travel Insurance, and Halcyon Leisure undertake to support claims in any practical way necessary.
Refunds will not normally be issued, but Halcyon Leisure may use discretion in appropriate circumstances to make a full or partial refund as they deem appropriate.
No claim for other consequential loss can be accepted by Halcyon Leisure.
