HL Holidays' (Halcyon Leisure's) Cancellation Policy is as follows:

1) At Booking

Bookings are not fully confirmed until the stated deposit is received and cleared into HL Holidays' Bank Account at which point a booking confirmation in the form of an invoice for the payment of the balance is issued. 

Before that point, either party may cancel the booking, and should a deposit have been lodged it will be refunded without penalty.

2) After Confirmation is issued

Deposits will not normally be refunded in the event of a cancellation - Guests should ensure that their insurance covers cancellation from the date of confirmation of the booking.

Where a week can be relet, and in circumstances deemed appropriate by HL Holidays partial refund of deposits paid may be made less an appropriate Administration charge.
HL Holidays will accept no liability for losses incurred as the result of failure to pay the balance of the rental.

3) Non payment of Balance

The Balance of the rental plus Security Deposit is due to be paid not less than 8 weeks before the booking starts. Reminders before payment is due will not normally be issued.

If payment of the balance is not made by that date, HL Holidays will issue a payment reminder within seven days of the due date.

If the payment is not made within seven days of that reminder, HL Holidays may release the booked dates for booking by others without notice, and the deposit is deemed forfeited until the Balance is paid in full.

4) Cancellation after Balance is Paid

The circumstances of cancellation after payment of the Balance will usually be covered by Travel Insurance, and HL Holidays undertake to support claims in any practical way necessary.

Refunds will not normally be issued, but HL Holidays may use discretion in appropriate circumstances to make a full or partial refund as they deem appropriate.

No claim for other consequential loss can be accepted by HL Holidays (Halcyon Leisure).
