    Millial is a recently renovated barn conversion on the edge of the ancient hill town of Lauzerte.  Accommodating up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms, it is a very short walk to all town facilities, but enjoying a spectacular south and westerly vista from its elevated position. 

    The barn is a completely separate building from the Owner's house, with separate access. 

    Enjoying a peaceful location and quality furniture and fittings, Millial is ideal for families or couples who want a peaceful location within easy walking distance of all town facilities.  Part of the town with restaurants and shops is a level 300m walk from the property. 
    Guests have access to the Owner's pool and terrace , about 70m through beautiful private gardens.

    Fibre internet and repeaters are installed, making Millial ideal for those needing to work whilst on holiday. 

  • Accommodation at Millial is on two levels. 

    The main entrance from the terrace leads into the spacious open plan lower floor including Kitchen, Dining and Seating areas. 

    The KITCHEN has a U shaped run of fitted units, and includes induction hob, oven and microwave, tall fridge freezer, and dishwasher. There is a range of smaller appliances and utensils for preparing family meals. 

    A spacious DINING TABLE & chairs is conveniently located for indoor dining 

    The SEATING AREA has a sofa and armchairs, and there is  a sofa that converts into a sleigh bed to extend the flexibility of the sleeping accommodation if required. 

    There are 2 BEDROOMS: 

    A spacious Double bedroom, with door opening onto the upper terrace at the rear of the property
    - A spacious Twin bedroom with two single beds. 

    There are SHOWER ROOMS on the upper and lower floors. 

    Central heating and underfloor heating makes Gite Millial an all year round property. 
    Fibre internet and repeaters are installed so anyone needing to work can easily do so, and television and other streaming applications should perform well.  Television is via fibre internet. 


  • There is dedicated parking off road just next to the gîte's entrance, in a space measuring 3.6 x 3 meters. It is also easy to find free parking on the quiet road or up in front of the Owner's neighbouring house.

    The beautifully manicured garden is on a slope facing south and west, and ideal for sun lovers. 

    Well managed with a variety of flowers and shrubs, terraces have been built at various levels to enjoy the superb views and sunsets over the surrounding unspoiled countryside to the west of Lauzerte. 

    The circular SWIMMING POOL with spacious poolside terrace is the main feature in the relaxing floral atmosphere with views across the countryside. (Note - the pool is behind the Owner's accommodation, just a short 70 meter walk through the private gardens from the gite.) 

    Outdoor furniture and parasols are provided.   There is a charcoal barbecue available for guests to use. 

  • With historic LAUZERTE a short walk away, or a short drive to the town's Intermarché supermarket food and drink will be no problem.  In July and August there is a weekly Marché Gourmande with tables laid out in the square, and entertainment and food aplenty available - Just bring your own cutlery and plates and enjoy the unique atmosphere as locals, expats and visitors join together. 

    The town's weekly markets are on Wednesdays and Saturdays, or nearby MONTCUQ has a very friendly market on a Sunday morning: Early arrivals there will hear very little English, but as the morning goes on the percentage of English voices rises as it becomes a weekly social occasion for the strong local expat community. 

    Lauzerte has a number of art and craft shops and galleries in its ancient streets which are interesting to browse, and the walk around the town is worth it for the breathtaking views of this ancient hilltop town. 


    Around the area there is much to see and appreciate. Most Guests will head for MOISSAC where the river Tarn swells the river Garonne as it prepares to become the Gironde downstream towards Bordeaux. Moissac is the home of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the medieval Abbey and Cloisters of St Pierre, and also a good place to take a cycle ride along the Garonne Canal, either north towards Agen or South to Castelsarrasin and Montauban. There are several bicycle hire outlets in the town, and also near Lauzerte if you fancy a cycle in some more testing terrain.  There are also some river based activities. 

    Beyond Moissac is MONTAUBAN with its colourful streets of rose coloured brickwork, and the attractive square La Place National. 

    For a day at the beach, Montcuq and MONTAIGU DE QUERCY both have leisure lakes with patrolled swimming in season, sandy beach areas and inflatables and or other waterborne fun, with bars and restaurants around as well.  For the full entertainment park experience, head for Walygator (formerly Walibi). about an hour away near Agen

  • Booking notes

    Linen & Towels -  Bed linen and Towels are included in the price of your booking.  Pool towels and baby linen are not included unless otherwise stated. 

    Arrival & Departure - Guest are requested not to arrive before 16h00 on the day of arrival, and to depart by 10h00 on the day of departure.   Bookings in July and August will run from SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. 

    Cleaning -  Guests are requested to leave the property in the same state of cleanliness as it was found, and to co-operate with any departure requests from the Managers. 

    Security Deposit -  A Security Deposit of £500 will be added to your invoice.  This will normally be repaid during the week after your booking ends.  

Changeover Day

How To Book

Making a provisional booking - Choose a currency and then click on the start date of your holiday, then on the departure date. A pop-up box will appear with the price & availability. (Note mandatory changeover dates for some seasons.) Click "BOOK NOW" that will show the provisional booking form to fill out.  You will then see the price but you will not be asked to make payment at this time. 

Your completed provisional booking form will be acknowledged, and we will confirm availability with the Property Managers.  Once confirmed, we will request a DEPOSIT, 20% of the Rental, and hold your booking for up to 3 days. 

The booking is complete when your deposit is received. Then you will receive an Invoice for the balance plus Security Deposit and any extra items ordered, to be paid no less than 8 weeks before Arrival date (or immediately if the booking is less than 8 weeks away) 

When payment of the invoice is received, directions and access information for the property will be sent.

Payment can be made in £GBP, €EUR or $USD via bank transfer or credit credit. (UK debit cards are also accepted.)  For any other payment method - please contact us
