A contemporary renovation of a traditional Quercy farmhouse, Trébaix is near the hamlet that bears its name, and within a couple of kilometres of the small towns of Sauzet and Villesèque which have everything needed for everyday living.
A little further away is Montcuq, with its lively expat population and a busy Sunday market. There are several restaurants in the town as well. For large town shopping Trébaix is very convenient for Cahors (15km)
In Cahors there is the famous Pont Valente and the river Lot to explore, or a little upstream the cliffside village of St Cirq La Popie is a must see. To the north is cave country with Gouffre de Padirac and Pech Merle very popular visits, and no visit to this area would be complete unless it included Rocamadour.
To the south is the rolling countryside of the Quercy Blanc. Along with Montcuq, other villages to visit are Lauzerte (image below) , Montaigu de Quercy and Beauville, each having its own individual character.
As ever in France, visits to markets to get the freshest of produce feature heavily and there will be a market somewhere near every day. For Saturday arrivals, the first call is usually to Montcuq's busy street market where many of the expatriate population gather on Sunday morning in the cafés and restaurants after the shopping is done.

Baby equipment - If not included in your rental, High Chairs, Travel cots and Play pens are available to rent at £GBP20 /week / item: Please indicate these on your Booking Form.
Arrival & Departure - Guest are requested not to arrive before 17h00 on the day of arrival, and to depart by 09h00 on the day of departure. Bookings in July and August will run from SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.
For weekend bookings you are asked to contact the Owner in advance to advise your arrival time.
Cleaning - Fair use cleaning is included in the tariff: Excessive cleaning may be charged at the Owner's discretion
Security Deposit - A Security Deposit of £700 will be added to your invoice. This will normally be repaid during the week after your booking ends.
Prices - Using the drop down at the top right of the Calendar, prices can be displayed in £GBP . €EUR or $USD. For other currencies please request confirmation from HL.
How To Book
How to make a provisional booking.
Booking - Click the "BOOK NOW" button under the calendar which will show the provisional booking form to fill out.
Enter your details, payment methods and any extra services required then click the continue button at the bottom. You will then be shown a payment summary but you will not be asked to make any payment online
Once received at the HL Office, you will be contacted to confirm any details necessary and arrange the payments.

When payment of the final invoice is received you will receive directions to the property and also access information.
