    • Perdu - Lost, in the sense of hidden. The Hidden Corner - Le Coin Perdu describes this delightful house for 8 perfectly. 

      Situated at the end of an single track No Through Road, there is space to relax and enjoy the peaceful French countryside just 2km by road from Montaigu de Quercy, or about 1km by foot. 

      A morning country walk to Montaigu de Quercy's excellent boulangerie or Saturday market is quite possible. 

      Rated at 4*, Air conditioning is installed in all bedrooms and the Lounge area. 

      Featuring Super King size beds and a heated pool this property Le Coin Perdu is an excellent property for families to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

  • Le Coin Perdu is an extremely well equipped house, usually the Owner's principal home which they make available for the summer months. 
      
      

    The well equipped Kitchen includes: 

     - Large Fridge Freezer with plumbed in water chiller
    - 6 burner gas range with electric oven
    - Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Tumble Drier
    - Good selection of small appliances including Tassimo coffee maker. 

    Excellent Television offers: 
     - Freesat UK channels
     - TNT French Channels
     - DVD player
     - Fibre internet, backed with repeaters around the house ensures Netflix etc are no problem 

    Air conditioning in the lounge area ensures watching in comfort. 

    Workstation - A workstation is installed in one bedroom to ensure peace for anyone needing to work, video call etc. (nb The computer shown in the workstation image is not available for guests) 

    Bedrooms

    There are 4 bedrooms: 
     - 'Champagne' - Double bedroom with Super King bed 
     - 'Malbec' - Double or Twin bedroom with Super King double or Twin single beds
     - 'Sauterne' -  Double bedroom  with King size double bed
     - 'Syrah'  Twin bedroom with Twin single beds. 

    There are two shower rooms. 

    All bed linen is supplied, and for stays of over a week a linen change is offered. 
    Bathroom towels are supplied as are towels for use at the poolside 

  • With 5000 sq metres (approx 1 acre) of well managed outdoor space at Le Coin Perdu there is plenty of space for relaxation outdoors. 

    The main feature is the 10 x 5m heated pool, with a 'Continental shelf' and integral steps at one end, allowing the very young to be in the water without being out of their depth. 
    Sunloungers and parasols are provided for use on the pool terrace. 

    Adjacent to the pool area is a playhouse with swings for the younger members of the family to enjoy.

    A charcoal barbecue with an initial supply of charcoal is provided. 

    The pool house also houses badminton, croquet and boules: There is a table tennis table in the courtyard by the house. 

    A redundant building has been converted into a courtyard area for a sheltered outdoor space, and in front of the house is a delightful pergola for outdoor dining and relaxation.

    The area around the property is very rural and there are footpaths to explore, with the village of Montaigu de Quercy about 1km away, putting it within range of a pleasant morning walk to the excellent boulangerie in the village for the freshest of bread and morning croissants. 

  • Montaigu de Quercy sits at the crossroads leading east to Cahors, south to Montcuq and Lauzerte, west to Bourg de Visa, Agen and Moissac, or north to Tournon d'Agenais, Fumel and the chestnut hills between the Lot and Dordogne valleys. 

    Each village and town in the area has its own character, with the hill top villages of Lauzerte, Pujols and Tournon d'Agenais listed among 'Les Plus Beaux Villages de France

    Traditional markets are held in villages and towns nearby every day of the week, and there will be a list of these at the property.  For food lovers the Friday market at Prayssac is particularly recommended, or for a large general market Montsempron Libos is the place to go on a Thursday. 

      

    From mid June until the end of August it is possible to have a day at the beach at the nearby Montaigu Plage, an inland lake with beach area and lifeguard patrolled swimming. Other attractions such as pedalos and zip wires may be available, and there is a restaurant and bar on site for refreshments. 

    There are many other attractions to visit and explore: The Tourist Information Office in Montaigu de Quercy, right on the car park, will be pleased to help you. 

    For the city experience, Toulouse is around 1hr 20 mins away, or Bordeaux around 1hr 50 min away. Alternatively trains to either city can be boarded at Agen. 

    For an easy family cycle ride, there are several bike hire points on the Lot Valley Cycle route or the Garonne Canal at Agen: For those wishing to explore the local routes conventional bikes and e-bikes can be hired from nearby Toc Velos

  • Booking notes

    Linen & Towels -  Bed linen, Bathroom Towels and Pool Towels are included in the price of your booking. Baby linen is not included.

    Baby equipment - A Travel cot and high chair are available on request.  

    Changeover day - All bookings will start and finish on FRIDAY 

    Arrival & Departure - Guest are requested not to arrive before 16h00 on the day of arrival, and to depart by 10h00 on the day of departure. 

    Cleaning -  There is no fixed cleaning charge at this property. Guests are requested to leave the property in the same state of cleanliness as it was found, and to co-operate with any departure requests from the Managers. 

    End of Stay cleaning at Le Coin Perdu may be available on request: It is at the discretion of the Caretakers/Managers, and must strictly be arranged in advance of your stay. Please contact HL for further information and cost. 

    Security Deposit -  A Security Deposit of £600 will be added to your invoice.  This will normally be repaid during the week after your booking ends.  

    Electricity - Perdu has a solar electricity system to reduce overall useage. Please pay attention to the Electricity section of the Guest Information folder. 

    Prices - Using the drop down at the top right of the Calendar, prices can be displayed in £GBP . €EUR or $USD. For other currencies please request confirmation from HL. 

    Payments - Payments can be by Bank Transfer, Credit Card or cheque.  Customers paying by card on UK £GBP accounts can also pay by Debit card.  

    How to Book:   Please submit a Reservation Request Form (blue button 'Book Now' under the Availability Calendar):  You will NOT be asked for any payment when submitting a booking request. 

       Your Booking Request will be acknowledged, and we will confirm availability with the Property Managers. 

                                      Once confirmed, we will request a DEPOSIT, normally 20% of the Tariff, and hold the booking in your name for up to 3 days while payment of the deposit is arranged. 

                                      The booking is confirmed when the deposit is received, and you will receive an Invoice for the balance plus the Security Deposit and any extra items ordered to be paid no less than 8 weeks before the Arrival date (or immediately if the booking is less than 8 weeks away) 

                                      When payment of the invoice is received you will receive directions to the property and also access information.

How To Book

How to make a provisional booking.

Booking - Click on the start date of your holiday, then on the departure date of your holiday. you will then see a pop-up box with the chosen dates and availability. Click the  "BOOK NOW"  button which will show the provisional booking form to fill out. Enter your details, payment methods and any extra services required then click the continue button at the bottom. You will then be shown a payment summary but you will not be asked to make any payment online

Payment - Payment can be made by any of the following methods in £GBP or €EUR.
